Weekend 5 Staten Island Special Events
Saturday & Sunday October 29 - 30, 11am - 6pm

Friday October 28, 7 - 10pm, FREE (RSVP required): Our friends at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) are having their Workspace Open Studio this weekend at 120 Broadway between Cedar and Pine Streets, 8th Floor . We invite you to join us at the LMCC's fabulous opening reception and, while you are there, pick up a printed NYC Citywide Open Studios tour map to guide you on your tour of Staten Island artists' studios on Saturday or Sunday. Given the fact that the LMCC is located close to the Staten Island ferry it's easy to enjoy both events. Read all about the LMCC Workspace Open Studio weekend and remember to RSVP if you will be attending their event. See you on Friday at the opening reception!

Go on a self-guided tour of artists' studios in Staten Island.

NYC Citywide Open Studios premiers the entire month of October 2005.
Over 500 New York City artists, in all five boroughs, invite you to visit their studios. It's your backstage pass to the cutting edge of NYC art. A celebration of one of the city's greatest cultural assets - its unparalleled population of artists. The event is free to the public and you are invited to explore participating artists' studios every weekend in October, one borough each weekend beginning with Manhattan (Oct. 1-2) and ending with Staten Island (Oct. 29-30) This grass-roots event offers you the opportunity to meet artists at all stages of their careers, tour their studios, learn about their process and purchase their original art.

Participate.
Open to all artists with studios or living in any of the NYC 5 boroughs. Artists: Read more on our For Artists page; then register.
